In the area of technical services applications such as cosmetics, household, industrial and institutional cleaning, personal care and various industrial functions are addressed.

Besides standard laboratory equipment, emphasis is laid on state-of-the-art physical-chemical instrumentation and computer-controlled reactors. Additionally several pilot plant facilities are in place which easily enable scale-up operations.

The center is adjacent to the Marl production facility which is Sasol's biggest and most diversified surfactants plant. This ensures short implementation time of new developments.
