Research Centers

We have modern R&D facilities at our plants in Brunsbüttel,
Marl, and Witten (Germany), as well as R&D centers in
Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA)
and Paderno Dugnano (Italy).
The activities include the development
of new products and processes in our laboratories, pilot plant
operations, and the monitoring and optimization of commercial-scale
production. Our efforts are directed especially at formulating new or
enhanced speciality aluminas enabling catalysts and abrasive producers to
optimize their products and open up new applications.
